New ActiveWire solar cells
The new ActiveWire technology shortens the distances between the conductor tracks of the solar cells, minimizing electrical losses and increasing current. If a cell rupture occurs, the effect remains locally limited. This innovative current rail network with 19 rails (conventional mono modules have only 5 rails) guarantees high module reliability. The thinner wires capture more light than with conventional surface contacts and minimize partial shading. This design maximizes energy yield – even in weak and diffuse light conditions.

The integrated aluminum plate ensures a high degree of stability of the module to meet the extreme demands in the maritime sector and outdoor areas. The modules can be optimally used on uneven surfaces and rounded levels on a boat or camper. When placed on a solid surface, the EFX solar panels can also be walked on. Weight savings of up to 80% are possible compared to framed solar panels.
