Quark-Elec R041 Wireless 4g LTE router has been developed in collaboration with Smartmarine.
A maritime wireless router designed for ships. A fast internet connection via WiFi and Ethernet for all your devices on board. Via 4G LTE and 3G UMTS network with only a data SIM card. The R041 has two MIMO 4G diversity antennas that ensure excellent mobile network reception and two omni-WiFi antennas. It offers the possibility to surf the internet at high speed, ensuring a stable and fast connection up to 22 miles from the coast.
The R041 is also designed for remote monitoring and management of the boat by providing digital I/O, serial communication port and NMEA 0183 protocol. combiFuture proof for our IOT (Internet of Things) solutions on board.
The R041 is a Plug & Play device with its default settings, requiring only a 12VDC power supply and a SIM card with an active data package to provide internet access. All this makes the system very easy to install.
