Description
De Garmin GPSMAP 723 is a fantastic chartplotter that will keep any boat on course. The GPSMAP 723 is by Garmin already equipped with a worldwide base map as standard and with the improved map display it becomes even easier to navigate. By expanding the GPSMAP with a BlueChart G3 card from Garmin you will get the relevant area of the map in great detail and get the most out of the AutoGuidence function. This function ensures that a route is drawn to your chosen location taking into account bridge heights and navigation depths. .
The GPSMAP 723 is equipped with a very nice 7 inch touchscreen that is also easy to read in full sunlight. With a screen resolution of no less than 1024 x 600 pixels you have a very clear and sharp image. The dimensions of the screen are 15,4 x 9,1 cm (lxh) and 17,8 cm diagonal. As you can see in the photos, the screen really uses the maximum space compared to the total size. This and the much greater processing power of the internal processors makes the big difference between this and the older GPSMAP chartplotters.
The built-in high-sensitivity GPS / GLOSNASS receiver updates the position very quickly and accurately. This results in a very accurate position determination and ensures a smooth chartplotter screen, even with fast-moving vessels.
The GPSMAP 723 is of course equipped with NMEA2000 capabilities. You can include it in your network and let the GPSMAP 723 communicate with other compatible devices in your network.
