Description
This super high output alternator is all you need to go off grid and provides all your boat power needs. The big advantage is that the GenMaax already provides 70% charging capacity around idle speed.
The frame is hard anodized black with a special saltwater resistant coating that improves heat dissipation, which is critical for any alternator rated over 160 amps. The simple, bolt-on replacement, the GenMAAX series gives you all the output of a large alternator in a small package that fits 99% of marine engines.
The 250a and the 24v 165a come standard with a Remote Rectifier for lower alternator operating temperatures.
