At Smartmarine they really have a talent for supporting adventurous clients, and I am one of them! My name is Jeanine, and together with my partner Hans I am preparing for a sailing trip with no end date. We have our eyes set on the Mediterranean, but we do not know yet when exactly we will arrive there. The adventure has yet to begin, but we are almost ready.

Hey, nice to have you here! We are Arjen and Amanda, two fanatic sailors with a shared love for adventure on the water. During the week we both work in education, but in the weekends and during the holidays we prefer to go straight to the boat. With our son Sascha and our faithful four-legged friend Fedde we go out on the water. Together we enjoy the peace, freedom and excitement that sailing brings with it.

I have a love-hate relationship with them. You need them, but they never deliver what you would expect. During a long trip they are actually empty far too often and far too quickly. On my steel two-master Karma van Staal I sail around the world in long stages. Think of 40 days of non-stop sailing, for example from Brazil to Cape Town or now from New Zealand to Chile.
